Seems the 'boss' is a bit of a control freak too: "a hands on approach to research and surveyor of overseas facilities" And what about his "generous grants" and "the [clear?] goals and leadership of [Gerald and Karen?, two names I can't quite make out]" When does passion become obsession?

We're joining the fight girl: the grassroots rising up through the global weeds.
